Conformity, demonstrated and not claimed
In construction, a product is only usable once you can demonstrate its conformity. CE marking, declaration of performance, fire class, ETAs and sector-specific standards: there are many, and they change. PimLayer IQ+ links each product to the right documents and rules, so you do not have to guess.
You ask whether a product meets a particular requirement. IQ+ answers with yes or no, shows the accompanying certificate and refers to the standard. No vague statements, but a verifiable answer.
Rules that always apply
Some requirements are not negotiable. A regulatory standard, a customer-specific standard that only permits approved materials, or an internal guideline. IQ+ treats such rules separately: they always apply when they are relevant, and override an overly optimistic answer.
Always the right, valid version
Certificates and declarations of performance have a validity period and are revised. IQ+ refers to the current version and can check its validity, so you do not accidentally work with an expired document.
What IQ+ relies on for compliance
- Your certificates, attestations, ETAs and declarations of performance.
- The applicable standards (CE, EN, ETAG and sector-specific).
- Your customer-specific and internal rules and approved materials lists.
- Your product specifications from PimLayer, linked to the right document.
Examples of what you can ask
- Demonstrating that a product is suitable for a specific application, with the certificate included.
- Checking whether a product meets the required fire or corrosion class.
- Reviewing the validity of a declaration of performance or certificate.
- Testing a choice against a customer’s approved materials list.
